We are a long, well established and friendly bowling club. We have excellent facilities to cater for parties, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Funeral Teas, etc. See our Function Page. Our kitchen staff are fully qualified. We are also able to cater with menus and prices to suit all tastes and pockets from three course meals to buffets. We are ideally situated next to the traffic lights on the main street in East Calder and buses stop just outside the club. If Bingo is your game then we play every Sunday and Wednesday evenings at 8 PM. Members should pay special attention to our Club News where they can see details of competitions, play by dates etc. Club events are also covered in our What's On Page
Would you like to learn how to bowl?
Our club have 5 fully qualified coaches and they are all very kind and patient. The evidence of their ability is bourn out by our splendid juvenile section, all taught and brought on by our coaches. The West Lothian Bowling Association have a team of Under 25s which consists of 24 players. East Calder are proud to provide 7 of the 24 players. One of our juniors, Greg Baldry, won the best junior bowler in the whole of Scotland in 2008. Come along to the club and introduce yourself and we will do our best to lend you shoes, bowls and give you some tuition, no charge. If you don't enjoy yourself just walk away. Should you find that you do like it then you can apply for membership. The outdoor season is from mid April till the end of September.
